What's going on?
At YouthInc we are passionate about young people. We help churches and volunteers to reach the young people in their communities by supporting them to run youth groups. Rural churches frequently have smaller congregations than city centre churches, which means they have smaller numbers of children and young people. This leads to young people ‘growing out’ of this as they reach year 5 & 6 and often disengaging from church as a result. Each group is set up to provide a space for young people to be honest, have fun and explore Christianity in as much depth as they are comfortable. We love to be creative and play games but are not afraid to ask and answer the hard questions.
Youth Groups
At the moment, there are four youth groups running on Sunday evenings throughout the month. Their frequency, timings and format all vary so find the details below or contact us to find out more.

Hinxton, Ickleton & Duxford
Meeting in Ickleton Village Hall, 17:00-18:30 on 1st Sunday of the month (usually), and we welcome those in school years 5-7.
In September, we will be continuing with our theme from last year as we explore more of who God is as the Israelites escape from Egypt. There will also be the usual fun and games.
Sawston
On 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month, two groups meet in St Mary's Church Hall to dig into the Bible together.
-
Sunday Slice, 17:30-19:00, Years 5-8
-
People of God, 19:15-20:15, Years 9+
In the autumn term we will be digging into big questions we have about faith, God, the Bible and church.
Whittlesford
On 3rd Sunday of the month, Whittlesford church gather for an informal campfire service in the church yard, 17:00-18:00. From September, what has previously been separately run, called ARKEXtra, is going to meet alongside campfire church. We will combine the campfire fun with youth activities for years 5-8 and explore who God is.
